There are 2 ways of creating payments:

If you have funds available on balance:

  1. Go to Pay

  2. Select a payee:

    1. You can choose to send the payment to an existing beneficiary, or

    2. You can create a new one by clicking on Add new beneficiary.

  3. Enter the payment details.

    1. Payment references need to be between 3 & 140 characters long.

    2. Avoid special characters and blank spaces at the beginning and end of the reference.

      1. Preferably alphanumeric code only.

  4. Once you have entered all the details, click Send and the payment will be created.

  5. If you scroll down the page you will be able to see further details, download a copy of the payment instructions and cancel the payment.

*Please note that the cancellation of a payment associated with an exchange rate operation does not cancel the operation.

If you already have an FX transaction (Spot, DD or Forwards):

  1. To create a payment using an existing trade, click on the Trade Section.

  2. Select the trade you need to associate the payment with and click on Add Payment.

    1. In this case, you will only be able to add the payment to an existing beneficiary.

  3. If you need to send a payment to a new beneficiary, you will need to follow the steps of If you have the funds already available on balance and create the payment from the Payment section.
