Due to the nature of the regulations that Ebury must adhere to, we screen and filter our payments in order to find possible common names or keywords in some elements of the transaction (e.g. Name of the beneficiary, payment reference, etc.). Should a potential match arise, we may need to ask for further information in order to rule it out.

In most cases, after the information has been reviewed, we can discard the match and release the transaction as usual. Unfortunately, there may be cases where we wont be able to proceed and we will be obliged to cancel the transaction.
