Two-factor authentication can be done either via an SMS message sent straight to your phone, or via authentication apps such as Google Authenticator. This guide will help you change between the two.

First, you will need to log in to your account. Go to your profile and settings page, by clicking on your name on the navigation menu.

Within your profile, go to ‘Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)’. Once there, click the ‘Modify’ button, and you’ll be able to change Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) method.

Once you click on Modify the system will ask you to confirm your identity by typing your account password.

To enable 2FA via SMS:

Click on the ‘Text message’ button.

Please enter your phone number that you want to use for 2FA and click on ‘Send the code’.

Once done, you’ll receive a text message to the number you provided with a code. Please enter the code you received and click on ‘Verify and save’.

Two-factor authentication has now been activated via SMS.

Next time you log in, you’ll be asked to enter a new code. This will be sent to your mobile device every time you log in in the future.

For App based two-factor authentication:

Select ‘Mobile app for authentication’. You’ll need to have an Authenticator App installed on your phone such as Microsoft or Google Authenticator.

You will be shown a QR code, which you must scan with the app on your device.

You will then be prompted to enter a code from the Authenticator App. Enter the code, and click verify and save.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) method has been now modified to mobile App.

Next time you log on, you will need to enter a code from the Authenticator App to gain access to your account.
