Transactions involving the world's most frequently traded and liquid currencies (including USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, JPY, NZD, CAD, NOK, CHF & SEK) are generally processed within 1-2 business days from the execution date. Payments in other currencies could take up to 3-5 days to clear. It is not uncommon for payments to arrive later than the specified value date, due to necessary internal checks conducted by banks, the involvement of multiple banks, and potential delays caused by bank holidays.

Please note that we always aim to send the funds through the most efficient route possible.

If your beneficiary claims non-receipt of their payment, a good first step is to double check the bank details used for the payment. If it's the first time you use these, there may be an error - and if they are the usual payee details, these may have changed.

If the details were correct and the expected timeframe has passed, please contact operationsteam@ebury.com
