Two-factor authentication can be done either via an SMS message sent straight to your phone, or via authentication apps such as Google Authenticator.
For SMS two-factor authentication:
Firstly, you need to log in to your account. Go to your profile and settings page, by clicking on your name on the navigation menu.
Within you profile, scroll down to see ‘two-factor authentication’. Once there, click the ‘Activate’ button, and you’ll be able to choose between the mobile app authentication or SMS authentication.
Click on the ‘Text message’ button.
Once you’ve done that, a code will be sent to your mobile device. Enter the code you receive in the ‘code’ box on the Ebury Online platform. Click on the ‘Verify and save’ button. Two-factor authentication has now been activated.
Next time you log in, you’ll be asked to enter a new code. This will be sent to your mobile device every time you log in in the future.
You can deactivate two-factor authentication at any time. All you need to do is go to your profile page and edit it from there. Simply click on the deactivate button, or if you want to change your number, you can change it here.
For Authorisation App two-factor authentication:
Once you've logged onto Ebury Online, click on your profile in the top right-hand corner.
In your profile page, scroll down to see ‘two-factor authentication’. Once there, click the ‘edit’ button, and you’ll be able to choose between the mobile app authentication or SMS authentication.
Click on the ‘Mobile app for authentication’. You’ll need to have an Authenticator App like Google Authenticator to proceed.
Once this is done you can scan the QR code with the app. You will then be prompted to enter a code from your Authenticator App. Enter the code you receive into Ebury Online, verify and save.
Next time you log on, you will need to enter a code from the Authenticator App to gain access to your account.
